The attacks in Mumbai last week demonstrated how self centered Americans are. Over 170 people were killed. At the time of this writing only 6 Americans have been killed. Yet, every time I turn on the news, they say that attack was targeting westerners... Are we really so uncaring as a people that we dont see the hundreds of others who were killed and think just for a moment that maybe we were just collateral damage or a "cherry on top"? We really need to get past ourselves and see the world out there. I imagine that had there not been 6 Americans killed that many Americans would not have even heard about it at all.
